Quick Answers
Where is the app? I can't find it!
Speakmac lives in your menu bar (top-right of screen), not the Dock. Look for the waveform icon near Wi-Fi and battery.
How do I start dictating?
Click in any text field, hold the fn key, speak, then release. Your words appear where your cursor is.
Nothing happens when I press fn?
Make sure your cursor is in a text field first. Also check that Speakmac has Accessibility permission in System Settings.
Is my voice data private?
Yes. Voice recordings are processed locally on your Mac. Optional Text Intelligence beta sends transcript text, not audio, through cloud cleanup only when enabled.
