Privacy Mode
Discard audio and transcripts immediately after use. For when you're dictating sensitive stuff.
Already Private by Default
Speakmac processes everything locally on your Mac. Your voice never leaves your computer—there are no cloud servers involved. Privacy Mode adds an extra layer by ensuring nothing is stored on disk after use.
What Privacy Mode Does
When Privacy Mode is enabled, Speakmac automatically deletes:
Audio recordings
Deleted immediately after transcription completes
Transcript text
Deleted after pasting to your app
Note: Your text still gets pasted normally—it's just not stored anywhere afterwards.
